This book offers many possibilities to work the targets with different activities. One of them could be the next:
 

READING AND WRITING TARGETS

INFANT 3: 5-6 YEARS

·         Recognise the letters of the alphabet. Say de letter sound, not the letter name.

·         Recognise and identify the beginning sounds of words.

·         Read and identify vowel/consonant combinations at the end of words, e.g. at in cat.



 

- Say the sound of the letters you can see.
- Put the letters of the sack in their correct place. Pronounce their sound and read the word.

 

 

Also, we can make displays and different flashcards to show in our class and remember the most frequency words in the story and learn them easier.
